PRO-STICK 170 -

With a weight of only 3,5 kg, the PRO STICK 170 achieves a welding current of 170 A at 230 V distribution voltage with an operating time of 50%. The
robust housing with the protective system IP 23 makes of the PRO-STICK a reliable specialist for the hard use on site.

• INTIG-Energy (Intelligent Ignition Energy)
  The INTIG Energy engages a striking exaltation for electrode welding which guarantees safe and smooth striking. The striking for TIG welding is performed by a Lift-Arc, whereas for TIG welding the optimum setting of the striking energy is performed depending on the selected welding current. Thus, the tungsten electrode is prevented
  from rapid wear or the tungsten particles are prevented from getting into the weld.
• EPC - Electronic Power Control
  By the continuous electronical power monitor circuit, the working safety is guaranteed and it is prevented from an ON/OFF switching infarct.
  Furthermore, the related overvoltage protection will considerably increase the edge life of the device.
• E-Max function
  With the E-max function the pure capacity with maximum 150 A (140 A) electrode welding current at an operating time of 60% (50%) is at your disposal.
• Overload hold function
  The mains current consumption is electronically controlled and, if required, the indicated capacity is reduced in order to prevent the mains fuse from releasing. Applying this function, the PRO-STICK
  achieves a welding current of 140 A.
• Temperature controlled ventilator switch
  The PRO-STICK 170 is equipped with a temperature controlled ventilator switch which automatically optimizes the cooling capacity and thus provides a minimum noise emission.
• Automatic ARC FORCE function
  increases the welding currrent in case of a short circuit and burns the free electrode.
• Anti-stick function
  If the electrode unvoluntarily sticks to the workpiece, the PRO-STICK automatically reduces the welding current to about 35 A. Thus, the electrode is prevented from burning out and may then easily
  be detached from the workpiece.
• 100 m ? - no problem !
  With the ELSA system (Electronic Stabilised Arc) the PRO-STICK guarantees welding without interruption - even for mains cables with a length of 100 m (at 1,5 mm2 of course). With ELSA welding interruptions belong to the past!
