The overload-hold-function prevents the mains fuse from releasing by continuous monitoring of the consumption of line current and the adaptation of the output current. You will achieve a maximum current of 160A or 140 A at an operating time of 75% or 50%. - Balance control
The large range balance control allows for TIG welding little electrode diameters at highest welding speed and optimum fusion penetration. - Anti-stick function
When the electrode involuntarily sticks to the workpiece, the PRO-TIG Digital automatically reduces the welding current to about 35A. Thus, the electrode is prevented of burning out. Then, the stick electrode may simply be detached from the workpiece. - EPC (Electronic Power Control)
By continuous electronic power monitor circuit, the working safety is guaranteed and the ON-OFF infarct is prevented. Furthermore, the service life of the device is considerably prolongued by the related overvoltage protection. - Software updates
