    The bowl-turning tool is a further development of the classic shaping tool. It has a circular cross-section and is perfectly suited for use on cross-grain wood. With its finger-groove cut, this tool is a true all-rounder and can be used to turn all sections of a bowl. The bowl-turning tool is used from rough shaping right through to the final finishing of the form. Many woodturners now also use it for working with fresh wood in the longitudinal grain direction.

    • Cross-grain, and in some cases also longitudinal grain (wet)
    • Turning the outer and inner shape
