Once again this year, the best employers from the point of view of their employees have been recognised. For the third time in a row, Stürmer Maschinen GmbH has qualified for the "kununu Top Company Seal“. This seal is awarded by the leading European platform for employer ratings to the five per cent of the best-rated employers. We have held the "kununu Top Company 2024" seal since mid-November.
We want to continue to offer our employees an attractive, interesting and crisis-proof working environment in the future. The fact that we have now achieved this for three years in a row is proven by the ratings of our employees. For the future, we see this award as a further incentive for all our endeavours in relation to our employees.
The "Top Company Seal" from kununu enjoys the highest profile of all employer seals on the market in German-speaking countries. The kununu score changes continuously, which is why the Top Company seal is awarded on an annual basis. This ensures the topicality and relevance of the award. The special thing about it is that the award is not presented by a jury, but exclusively on the basis of independent employee evaluations. This data-based and independent awarding of the seal means that the evaluation platform guarantees an authentic evaluation.
Stürmer Maschinen GmbH was founded in 1982 as a machinery wholesaler with factory representatives and today occupies a leading position in supplying the German specialised machinery trade.
The name Stürmer stands for courage and optimism. This has allowed us to grow into a successful and efficient company that successfully supplies machines from the fields of metal and woodworking, compressed air and welding technology as well as cleaning and workshop technology to the trade in Germany and to over 20 European and more than 40 non-European countries. However, we are not resting on our laurels, but will continue to actively embrace the changing times in the future.
The fact that this concept is working is not only demonstrated by the kununu awards, but also by the additional accolade of "Bavaria's Best 50" from the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology in 2016 and the top positions among the most crisis-proof companies in Germany, which our Group companies Stürmer Maschinen GmbH and OPTIMUM Maschinen Germany occupied in an independent ranking by the Süddeutsche Zeitung Institute in cooperation with Creditreform Rating AG in 2023.
Of around 3,700 companies analysed, only 300 made it into the table of Germany's most crisis-proof companies. OPTIMUM Maschinen Germany GmbH was ranked 34th and Stürmer Maschinen GmbH 37th. Both companies were therefore ranked among the top 1 per cent of the German companies analysed.
