After more than 51 years, the history of REHM GmbH & Co. KG in its current form has come to an end. For more than four decades, we at Stürmer have been the authorised representative for REHM in Bavaria.
REHM was a key factor in our success, especially in the early years – just as we were able to make an important contribution to REHM's success.
During the insolvency proceedings, we kept you regularly informed via our employees.
Now it is certain:
The REHM brand and all rights have been completely taken over by the Estun Group, a leading Chinese robot manufacturer. Estun is also known for its takeover of the long-established company Carl Cloos (2019).
As things stand, Estun plans to:
- reposition the brand in order to once again achieve the highest technological standards and set new benchmarks for innovation and quality,
- manufacture the core product range to the usual extent,
- distribute these under the REHM brand name,
- and open a new REHM service centre in Schwäbisch Gmünd.
We are pleased to announce that Stürmer will continue to handle sales for REHM in Bavaria and will also be responsible for Baden-Württemberg in future.
In addition, Estun plans to market parts of its product range through our distribution channels. As soon as we have more detailed information on this, we will of course inform you immediately and comprehensively.
