Orphanage & hospital ship: christmas donation for people in need

Every year, we share our success with those in need and with people in distress. This year we are supporting the Christophel Blindenmission, Welthungerhilfe, Menschen für Menschen, Mercy Ships and an orphanage in Tanzania.

For 7 years now, we have maintained close contact with the Rose Education Center orphanage in Tanzania. With our donations, we have already been able to make a significant contribution to the purchase of urgently needed items for the maintenance of the residential and school operations. These include beds and mattresses, school books, a school bus and the construction of a school wall to protect against cattle that were raiding the beds for self-sufficiency. Now a canteen is to be built for the students and orphans, including cooking and seating facilities, so that the children no longer have to eat their meals sitting on the floor. We are pleased to be able to actively support the orphanage in this project with our donation this year.

We have also been helping the floating hospitals Mercy Ships for several years with both monetary and material donations. With various machines, e.g. a double grinding machine, a pallet truck and a welding machine, we have in the past been able to help ensure that maintenance work on the hospital ships is carried out by technical staff themselves. Because the hospital ships rely on self-sufficient ship supply so that the best possible medical help can be provided at any time, regardless of the location. With our Christmas donation to Mercy Ships, we want to promote health and offer people prospects for their future.
