Application, properties, approval
Rutile coated electrode for joining and surfacing welds on similar and similar steels and cast steel grades, for joining welds on higher-strength unalloyed and low-alloy structural steels, tempering and tool steels, on hard manganese steel as well as for joint welding between dissimilar steels with each other and with high-alloy, stainless steels. The electrode is also suitable for crack-resistant and tough-hard intermediate layers for hard applications as well as for wear-resistant, cold- and hot-strengthening applications. The austenitic-ferritic weld metal is rust-proof, corrosion-resistant and suitable for operating temperatures up to 300 ° C. Due to the increased delta ferrite content in the weld metal, black-and-white joints provide a high level of protection against hot cracks.
